Edenburg City Park

Edenburg City Park could almost be broken down into three different areas. Throughout the park you can find bathrooms that are cold and use soup dust to wash your hands and are always out of towels. The park is supposed to be closed past dusk, but the park is open without gates or fences. If you wish to have special events happen if you're sneaking in past dark tag me; if not, play as if you didn't get caught and had an uneventful night as far as authorities are concerned.

The first part that park goers experience is an open layout of hills, park benches along the paths, the beginning of the lake that sits in the center of the park. This area is perfect for picnic, studying, first dates, casual fishing, or even just taking time to read a book. There is no swimming allowed in the lake.

As you walk along the paths around the lake the area splits into two. The first area is off towards the right side of the park is a heavily wooded area. The trails turn from concrete to gravel to dirt the further you walk in. The farther you go in the more dark the area around you gets no matter the time of day. Somewhere hidden deep in the woods is a graveyard that had been here before The Council built Edenburg.

Of to the right hand side of the park is a more whimsical, magical place. Here along the lake are willow trees with limbs that reach the ground and provide cover for those who are laying inside. There is a small garden located here with an easy maze to navigate. Within the maze is chess tables and other small tables to relax and have picnics. Its quiet and secluded. This area has been nicknamed by the kids as lovers grove.
