THREADING INFO
Types of Threads
Site-WideSite-wide threads are based on the core plot driving the site and are created by a staff member or house superior. These come with bonuses at the end of the plot or monthly bonuses for participating. These will be denoted with a [SW]. You do not have to participate in side-wide threads but you will not receive bonuses or recognition in the lore.
PublicPublic threads can be made by any character and should be a part of the sector they're in. For example; you are in the city park, do not make a public thread for a coffee shop or library. There is allowed to only be one kind of public thread made and has to be mentioned in the description of the area. Example; you are in black top forest and there is a thread already titled 'main hiking trail' please do not make another thread for the main hiking trail. Public threads must be denoted with abefore the title.
PrivatePrivate threads can either be closed or open. Closed Private threads means the maker already knows who will be role-playing with them; the amount of people for a private thread caps at 5. These threads are denoted with a [CP] before the title, as well as the individuals posting in the first post. Open Private threads means someone has an idea but doesn't know who they want to role-play with. These threads will remain open until the amount of slots are filled and will become closed afterwards. Example; Lucy creates a open private thread for a character development moment and wants two others to join the thread, once person A and B posts, Lucy edits her first post to include those individuals and changes the title to show its closed now. Open Private Threads are denoted with [OP] and must include how many characters you are looking for and any other specifications you're looking for (must be vampire/werewolf/human, boy/girl/other, gay/straight/lesbian/other. etc).
BusinessBusiness threads are threads that are created by the store owner and has employees with payment. These threads are found in only four areas; Town Square, Maxi Mall, Food District, and Sunlight Strip. These areas are allowed to have private threads, but there are to be no public threads for shops or stores as these must be created by store owners to facilitate economy.
EventEvent threads are for seasonal events, they have end of the season bonuses attached to them for participating within them. These bonuses vary depending on the event and occasion. You do not have to participate in these threads. There is end of the season voting that accompanies these events. These are denoted with a [ B ]
HousingHousing threads are only in the housing areas of each sanctum. These threads do not count towards private or public. These will be denoted with a [H] to symbolize these areas.
